Coolangatta Surf Life Saving Club is run by volunteers to protect swimmers who surf and use the beach at Coolangatta, one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. The club has a long history of service to the community having been established in 1959. Beach patrols are available on weekends and public holidays during the surfing season from September to April. Our life saving volunteers study and practice the surf life saving methods taught by Surf Life Saving Australia and while the club is committed to ensuring Cooly beach is one of the safest beaches in Australia, there is more to the club than just Surf Lifesaving. The club, with 100s of members has formal and informal social activities throughout the year including the Supporter's Club Raffles, Sports Luncheon, Golf Days, Barefoot Bowls & much more. Come and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in our first class Supporter's Club which offers fantastic food, value and service on the coast's biggest absolute beachfront balcony. All this and a friendly atmosphere. So whether your a visitor or one of our members Coolangatta SLSC is a great place to visit.
